Dr. Bazylewicz has an interesting variety of experiences that contribute to her current skills and knowledge and that can help you along the path toward better health.
Dr. Bazylewicz obtained her BS in Chemical Engineering with Chemistry minor and Biomedical Engineering option and Biochemical Engineering emphasis from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University in 1981. Then, she obtained her MS in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 1983.
After working in the pharmaceutical industry with Bristol Myers and Adria Laboratories as a Process Engineer, Staff Process Engineer, Production Supervisor, and Production Manager for 7 years, she decided to pursue a medical career because she had a heart for health.
Dr. Bazylewicz earned her Doctorate in Medicine (MD) degree at The Ohio State University in 1995 and completed Family Practice residency at Mount Carmel Health in Columbus, Ohio in 1998. Also, she earned her Master Herbalist (MH) degree in 2003 and her Doctorate in Naturopathy (ND) degree in 2004 both from Trinity School of Natural Health.
Dr. Bazylewicz was employed as a Family Practice physician from 1998 through 2005. She opened a health store called The Healthy Path in 2001 which later included naturopathic consultations starting in 2005, and then integrative medicine appointments with an emphasis in chronic Lyme disease and other tick-borne infections and other chronic infectious diseases including zoonoses starting in 2008 which is longer than anyone in Ohio and most neighboring states.
Through the Physician Training Program by ILADS and Turn the Corner, she was trained by two prominent Lyme specialists, Dr. Richard Horowitz and Dr. Ann Corson. In addition, she is a member of the International Lyme and Associated Disease Society (ILADS).
She became Board Certified in Integrative Medicine and was awarded Fellow status in the American Association of Integrative Medicine (FAAIM). She has completed most modules from the Institute of Functional Medicine.
Also, Dr. Bazylewicz became a certified practitioner for the Bredesen protocol for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases.
In addition, she has completed coursework in Natural Healthy Buildings and obtained certification in Building Biology Advocate from the International Institute of Building-Biology & Ecology.
Furthermore, she has extensively studied the Shoemaker Protocol for mold and biotoxin illness.
And, she is a certified Master Reiki Professional.

Currently, Dr. Bazylewicz is a medical doctor (MD) licensed in the states of Ohio, Kentucky, and Virginia, and she is a naturopathic physician (ND) and a Master Herbalist (MH).
