C-Reactive Protein Cardiac (hs CRP) Useful in predicting risk for cardiovascular disease. This test has a higher sensitivity than C-Reactive Protein (CRP). Increased CRP levels are found in inflammatory conditions including: bacterial infection, rheumatic fever, active arthritis, myocardial infarction, malignancies and in the post-operative state.
